Val & Kaustav’s Edgewater Hotel Wedding in Seattle | Part 1
Val & Kaustav tied the knot with an intimate Edgewater Hotel wedding in Seattle. They kept things small, inviting their closest family and friends to spend the day with them along the Seattle waterfront. Their wedding at The Edgewater Hotel was also part of a larger plan we had put together. A few months later, we were supposed to reconnect in the North Cascades with their pets for another day together in the mountains.
An Intimate Wedding at The Edgewater Hotel
Val & Kaustav spent the first part of their wedding day getting ready separately at The Edgewater, with their pups hanging out nearby. Once they were ready, we headed outside and explored around Olympic Sculpture Park, Pocket Beach, and Seattle’s waterfront before returning to the hotel for their ceremony. They exchanged vows surrounded by their closest family and friends with views across Puget Sound toward the Olympic Mountains. Afterward, everyone gathered around a candlelit dinner to eat, celebrate, and spend the rest of the evening together.
Continuing Their Wedding in the North Cascades
A few months later, Val & Kaustav and I were supposed to reconnect for the next part of their wedding in the North Cascades. Wildfires made the area unsafe and pushed our plans into the following year. When we revisited everything the next spring, closures and rockslides had changed access to some of the places we originally planned to visit, so we adjusted our plans and found somewhere new.
