Evans & Jacob’s Loveland Pass Engagement Session

There’s something so special about a summer sunrise in the Rockies, and Evans & Jacob’s Loveland Pass Engagement Session was the perfect way to soak it in. When Jacob reached out to plan their session, I was stoked—not just because of the location but because I got to photograph two awesome friends.

Evans and I go way back to our hospitality days, and one of our first adventures together was a photography meetup at the Great Sand Dunes National Park in 2019. Fast forward to now, and being trusted to capture their engagement was such an honor—especially since they’re both talented photographers and videographers.

We started at sunrise with some fun lantern photos and caught those cotton-candy skies before heading to an alpine lake for an outfit change and more photos. Loveland Pass is one of my favorite spots because it’s easy to get to, has tons of variety, and mornings are usually nice and quiet. This session wasn’t just about the photos—it was about celebrating two friends and their love story. Evans and Jacob, thanks for letting me be part of this chapter of your lives together.
